This year’s Vacation Bible School will be July 27-30, 6 pm to 8 pm. Our theme is True North! Sharing and showcasing Jesus as their unwavering guide to life. This VBS is ecumenical and community based. We are thrilled to welcome Immanuel Lutheran Church in addition to long- time friend St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. To run this program smoothly, many hands are needed. Roles such as registration table, kitchen support, decorating, and photographer are currently available. Please contact Wanda in the office if you feel led to support.

WOW Garden Tour

Saturday, August 1st. Please see flyer for more details. Ticket selling 7/26 @ 10:15 am after worship; 7/31 @ 10-11 am at Friday Morning Coffee; and8/1 @ 10-11 am at church day of tour.

Blessing of the Backpacks and Outdoor Worship – Sunday, August 23rd across the street at Hinman Park.

Stuff the Bus – Holy Cross is a drop of site for school donations. Please see the list on the box in the lobby for most needed items. You can also donate money towards items or the school’s Angel Fund for lunches.
Ceiba Vida International-Guatemalan Girls School – Change Offering — Our mission is to provide young girls an excellent and challenging educational experience modeling Christ’s love.

LCMC Annual Gathering – October 4-7, 2026. Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines IA, registration by July 31, 2026. Please reach out to April Goodwin if you would like to attend. Church will pay for the first two people going. Visit www.lcmc.net for full details.
